We’re excited to share our monthly update for everyone living in and around the NL64 Shepshed and Loughborough West area. This newsletter is here to keep you informed about what’s happening locally, highlight the work we’re doing in your neighbourhood, and share useful updates that matter to you.

Our current Neighbourhood Policing Team beat priorities are:

Road Safety - Feedback from the local community is that Road Safety in particular Speeding and dangerous parking outside schools across the beat area is a concern.

Theft From Motor Vehicles – Feedback from the local community is that a recent spike in Theft From Motor Vehicles around Shepshed are a concern

Drug Dealing - Feedback from residents shows that drug dealing activity across the beat, Continues to be a priority concern for the community

Here's what we have been doing this month in relation to our current beat priorities

Road Safety – "Our team has been visiting local schools during busy drop-off and pick-up times, chatting with parents about the importance of parking safely and thoughtfully. We’re working together to keep the area safe and reduce inconvenience for other road users and nearby residents."

Theft From Motor Vehicles – “ We’ve just made this a new priority for our team. To help keep our community safe, we’re working with police cadets and volunteers to share practical crime prevention tips with residents.”

Drug Dealing – We’ve been working alongside local residents to gather information about suspected drug activity in the area. Your support is helping us take action to keep our community safe. This information is being used in applications for warrants and closure orders, and we already have court dates scheduled to move these forward.
